Greetings from Peoria again, we’ve had another great day. Rather than tell you all about it, let me encourage you to go to www.igrc.org. There on the conference website you can listen to Bishop Palmer, Dr. Christine Pohl, and others as they addressed the conference. I would especially commend to you the “Morning Manna,” which is Bishop Palmer’s message from the morning worship service…excellent! I also want to tell you about the John Wesley Fellowship of Illinois’ luncheon. In the midst of annual news of decline in our conference, it is refreshing to hear of church after church in our conference that has had 20, 25, 50, and 79 professions of faith this past year! This was truly a celebration service and it was evident that the Holy Spirit is active all around our conference. Rev. Randall Reese, superintendent of the Embarras River District, was our keynote speaker and the anointing was obvious. Thank you, Cache River District members, for your prayers on Thursday morning…they were successful! I know no one is signed up, but consider praying for us again tomorrow.
